Fish Paintings

No two paintings look alike although you may choose the basic style and colors from my work. Your painting will be created with archival watercolors on 300 lb paper or painted with brilliant acrylics on canvas.

Portraits

I am NOT currently accepting portrait commissions.

Your satisfaction is guaranteed and we will communicate closely throughout the process.

Animal Portraits

Keep your best friend with you always! A watercolor portrait can capture the energy and personality of your pet.

House Portraits

By popular demand, I am now offering home portraits. This is a great way to preserve the family memories of a special place.

Murals

Now accepting mural commissions. Fees vary depending on the size and complexity of the project. Please call or email me for a free estimate. As always, your satisfaction is guaranteed.

Abstract Commissions

There are so many possibilities for abstract images. I recommend you find images that speak to you. You may pull pages from magazines and other publications. While I naturally refuse to copy any art outright, these images will help in the communication process of your vision. I will paint abstracts with acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas so no frame is needed if desired.

Photographs

I prefer to take my own photos to ensure proper lighting and a pleasing composition. Flash photography washes out subtle shading and should be avoided. If you are far away from Arizona and do not wish to fly me to you, I can guide you through the photographic process. If I need to work from photos you have on hand, I will view them before I commit to taking the commission.

Fee Structure

I use the ancient method of charging by the square inch. TThe current price for abstract and fish commissions is $1.5 per square inch.  So a 24" x 36" would be $1296. This way you can do your own calculations and decisions before contacting me. Turn around time is currently 8 weeks.

At the time of photo shoot. This fee is in addition to the portrait fee. However, you will receive all photos with your finished portrait.

At the time of photo selection. This fee is non-refundable. You are authorizing me to paint the portrait and commit resources to its completion

At the time of composition selection. I will provide 3 pencil sketches and 1 color study to help you with this important decision.

At the time of delivery. Painting is presented in an archival neutral mat. Framing is available but not included.
