Scouting Cathedral Wash

This plein air piece was painted mid day at Cathedral Wash in the Vermillion Cliffs. This was our second day at this amazing location and we were up there with the master painters from Plein Air Painters of America. Matt Smith, Dan Young, Skip Whitcomb, and Mitch Baird, and this was after a week in their workshop! Bucket list trip and this place is special. This 8 x 16 oil is on archival linen panel.
