Red Rock Flow original

This plein air piece was painted at Red Rock Crossing with my friend Casey Chevrount.  It was winter which gives this piece a really different feel. The water was bright and sparkly and just pulled me in. The desert holds a certain magical beauty in winter. They say this is a female vortex which is why it feels so nurturing and healing here.

This original oil is 10 x 8 inches and is painted on linen panel.

One of my favorite places for sure.
