Cimarron Canyon

This plein air piece was painted at a beautiful spot in Northern New Mexico called Cimarron Canyon. The exciting part of this story as that my husband and I drove by this two years ago on our way back from Minnesota (where I was born). We didn’t have time to stay but vowed we would return and we did just two years later! Actually a little over a week ago. It is just a spectacular place. This measures 10 x 8 and is painted with oil on linen canvas panel.
