Early Morning West Fork

This plein air piece was painted on West Fork Trail, one of the prettiest places in our state. It was a chilly 50 degrees when I began this but the scene was so magical with the faded background and the pop of the one bright aspen tree that I bundled up and got busy capturing this beautiful scene. This 8 x 10 oil is on gesso board.
