Got My Goat

This is painted in Glendale, Arizona at a wonderful farm right off Northern Avenue. Well at least the sheep and landscape were painted there. When I got it back to the studio I decided it needed a little something more. After all the upheaval in the country uncovering the racism and inequality so many were feeling combined with the pandemic, well I just had to paint something whimsical. So I found this wonderful goat I had sketched when camping in Pagosa Springs, Colorado and added him to my painting. Now this piece really makes me smile! Hope he brings some joy to you as well. This piece is 9 x 12 oil on linen panel.
