Red, White, and Blue

This painting was painted at Lee’s ferry up in Marble Canyon, one of many gorgeous places in our country. This is where you put in when rafting the Grand Canyon. This was painted plein air with a group of artist friends from the Plein Air Painters of America trip. Love the light and reflections at this amazing location and I was inspired to paint this due to the violet water. This 10 x 8 oil is on archival linen panel.
